Through an integrated blend of Child & Adolescent Mental Health Coaching, Somatic approaches, Trauma informed practice and Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT), I support teenagers and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, self‑esteem, education and work challenges. My approach gives young people practical tools to understand themselves, express their needs, regulate their emotions and feel empowered in their everyday lives.
With 25 years’ experience working with young people and witnessing the pressures and gaps within systems meant to protect them, I founded Hummingbird Mindsets to provide personalised, neuroscience-informed and nervous system support. My approach helps young people feel safe, respected, and valued, while also equipping the adults around them to offer confident, supportive guidance.
I work with schools, Virtual Schools, Social Care teams, Adoption and Fostering Services, youth organisations, and community groups, delivering trauma-informed, relational training and practice and consultancy
My goal is simple:
to help young people rise; and to help the systems around them rise with them.

My approach is identity‑centred and grounded in supportive, relational practice. I use evidence‑informed methods that help young people understand themselves, manage their emotions and feel more confident in who they are. Everything is age‑appropriate, choice‑led and designed to feel supportive rather than overwhelming.
I draw on:
• Child & Adolescent Mental Health Coaching to build confidence, self‑awareness and practical coping tools
• Trauma‑informed coaching to help young people feel safer, more understood and better able to manage their emotions through sensitivity, choice and attuned responses
• Somatic approaches to support grounding, body awareness and emotional regulation
• IEMT to shift stuck emotional patterns without revisiting difficult experiences
